MINUS TOUCH

Devised by the company, written by piers black

co:lab festival 2017, royal exchange theatre

Imo and Pete are keeping a long-distance relationship alive through video-chat and promises about the future.

Around them the world is falling apart, with public unrest, flash floods and cities catching fire.

The play asks what experiences need to be real and what experiences do we welcome through a screen. In modern life, when does reality take precedence?

Minus Touch is a cinema-theatre crossover devising by the company, which combined live stream, projection and live music. Supported in it’s development by the Royal Exchange’s Open Exchange and the Arts Council England.
